Emily Rostron is a 23 year-old artist from New Zealand. She’s been drawing since 2014 and her favourite medium is watercolour paint but she also uses coloured pencil and occasionally charcoal.

She uses art as a way of escaping from reality most of the time. Emily loves to create for others and do a lot of commission work that doesn’t make it to her page as she respects clients privacy.

Emily credits all of her work to God working through her and she’s so excited to see where he takes her next. She’s all about trying new things and being open to growth! She loves to see what others are creating.

Emily guesses she’s just looking for some kind of truth in all this pain. Life is raw and there is the beauty.
